The apartment has been created from the whole ground floor of the main house with its own private entrance and is all on one level with just one small step. It has two double Bedroom’s both with private facilities and the living space is all open plan. The owners live quietly in the upper portion of the house. The apartment is furnished and equipped to the English Tourism Council’s highest grading of 5 stars. The apartment has its own private terrace to take advantage of the views. Garden furniture is provided for you to sit and relax in the afternoon and evening sunshine.



Accommodation

The front door enters into the hallway with hanging space and boot storage. The separate boiler room makes an excellent drying room after the odd wet day!! Good sized and well planned lounge/dining room with integral newly fitted kitchen area. All open plan. For chilly evenings, a cast iron, living flame electric fire in the fireplace provides ample backup heating to the gas central heating. Large patio doors, from the lounge area, open up to your own outside blue slate terrace, which overlooks the garden. Garden furniture is provided for you to relax on the long sultry evenings and watch the sun go down behind the trees and fells.
The master bedroom is en-suite (with a large shower, WC and basin), with a five-foot bed, built in wardrobes and duel aspect views over the gardens. The second double bedroom has a four foot six inch bed, built in wardrobe and outlook across the garden. This bedroom has its own bathroom just across the hall. It is fully tiled with bath, basin and WC.
The apartment has been carefully planned with comfortable furnishings in traditional style. Good quality fitted carpets throughout. The accommodation is all on one level, ideal for those wishing to avoid stairs. There is one small step at the front door and the patio doors.

General Information

Arrival and Departure times
Our changeover days at Brackenrigg Apartment are Saturdays only. Arrival time commences from 2pm on the day of arrival and we ask you to vacate by 10am on the day of departure. This enables us the time to prepare for our next guests arrival.

Cots and Highchairs
I regret we provide neither at any of our properties. We do not encourage children under 10 at Brackenrigg Lodge because of all the water features situated within the grounds. Please ring if you need more details.

Credit Cards
We do not accept credit card payments.

Fuel
The apartments fuel costs are included in the tariff price.

Inspections
Our holiday homes are inspected and graded by the English Tourism Council.

Our holidays are free of VAT at the moment. Should the situation change you would be informed immediately.
